鈥淚 decided to take part in concurrent enrollment because I thought it was interesting to be able to leave high school with some sort of college degree,鈥 he said. 鈥淚t seemed like a great way to get a head start on my college career.鈥

For Kyle Bigley, PCC鈥檚 concurrent enrollment program for high school students offers a way for him to earn college credit while still taking part in his high school activities.

Kyle attends Central High School in 杏吧性世界 and is a forward on the varsity basketball team. He鈥檚 enrolled in PCC鈥檚 Physical Therapist Assistant program with hopes of earning both his associate degree and high school diploma in 2022.

鈥淚 decided to take part in concurrent enrollment because I thought it was interesting to be able to leave high school with some sort of college degree,鈥 he said. 鈥淚t seemed like a great way to get a head start on my college career.鈥

He also appreciates the independence that PCC offers. 

鈥淚 like the freedom of taking classes at PCC. There is a ton of variety and it鈥檚 interesting to see the different options. I feel like taking college classes now will prepare me better in the future. It鈥檚 made me realize the importance of studying more diligently.鈥
