杏吧性世界 received the EDIE award from the for economic development partnership of the year.
The EDIE awards, established in 1989, recognize outstanding achievements in economic development in the state of Colorado. They were announced Oct. 21 at the EDCC鈥檚 annual conference in 杏吧性世界.
杏吧性世界 Corporate College, a division of PCC, was nominated by EVRAZ 杏吧性世界, with which the college has a longstanding partnership.
鈥淧CC鈥檚 杏吧性世界 Corporate College has worked closely with EVRAZ (North America) management to design custom training programs including , new mechanical and electric millwright new-hire training, quality assurance training, and, most recently, operator training for a state-of-the-art long rail mill,鈥 said the EVRAZ nomination.
Over the past 17 years, programs between PCC and EVRAZ have trained 119 workers for other positions within the company, helping the steel mill retain and promote its employees.
